Heritage Days is a highlight of the summer in Starbuck, MN. This community celebration occurs on the first weekend of July and is a perfect time to celebrate old traditions and enjoy the excitement of summer. Heritage Days is Starbuck's major event of the year. Community members have the chance to connect while children play, and old friends return to the area for a few days.
The events begin on Thursday evening and conclude on Sunday morning. The Depot buildings are open and are a center for many games, meals, and performances throughout the festival weekend. There is a Queen's coronation and grand parade. The 5k/10k race, golf tournament, and inflatables keep participants active and entertained. There is plenty of food around, including Starbuck's famous fly-in pancake breakfast at the airport. Fun for kids is also abundant with activities such as the the kiddie carnival, tractor pull, family movie night, youth golf tournament, and kiddie parade. On Saturday night, fireworks can be seen over Lake Minnewaska. Heritage Days is guaranteed to be days of fun. See you there!
